PhD Student and Postdoc Positions in Computational Soild and Fluid Mechanics at University Florida

Strongly motivated applicants are invited to apply for a fully funded Ph.D. student position available starting Spring/Fall 2024, and a postdoc position available immediately, both within the M.E. Rinker, Sr. School of Construction Management, College of Design, Construction and Planning, University of Florida. The student and postdoc will work in the field of artificial intelligence (AI) together with one of the following areas:

*Computational solid/fluid mechanics of innovative natural and engineered materials for future civil infrastructure and renewable energy systems

*Multiscale and Multiphysics simulation of the urban and coastal geoenvironment

*Earthquake and geophysics

The student and postdoc will study and work in an international multidisciplinary team.
